DALLAS (February 23, 2014) Gaspar Enciso, 17, was jailed Sunday in lieu of $150,000 bond, charged with murder in the death of a man who was stabbed and then tossed from a moving vehicle along a busy Dallas freeway.
Enciso was arrested Friday after police tracked his number to texts found on the cell phone of slaying victim Pedro Calixto-Velenta.
The victim, who had several stab wounds, was pushed out of a moving SUV during rush hour Tuesday hour along Dallas' LBJ Freeway.
He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The driver of the SUV kept going, but the driver ran after the SUV struck another vehicle in a school parking lot.
Calixto-Velenta's phone was found in the SUV along with two bank receipts.
Bank surveillance video showed Enciso with the victim withdrawing money.
