SAN ANTONIO (August 27, 2013)—Bryant Meza, 19, was jailed Tuesday charged with capital murder after his parents were found shot to death early Monday at their San Antonio-area home.
The bodies of Fidel and Eva Meza were found Monday morning after deputies responded to an emergency call. ‘
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Bryant Meza, who sheriff's office spokesman Paul Berry described as armed and dangerous, was arrested Monday evening after a daylong manhunt.
Sgt. Raymond Pollard said Meza evidently argued with his father before the shooting.
He said other relatives were at the home, but couldn't Meza from fleeing on foot after the shots were fired.
Dogs were being used to search some nearby woods earlier Monday.
