HOUSTON (October 1, 2012)--A Houston-area woman accused of stabbing her roommate to death and then asking a friend's boyfriend to help her dispose of the victim’s body was charged with murder and ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bond.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the Adele Margaret Karczewski, 53, and her 62-year-old roommate, Charles Graham, argued and says she later used a kitchen knife to stab him in the neck Wednesday.

Deputies went to the apartment in northwest Harris County after a friend of Karczewski's told authorities that the woman had tried to get the friend's boyfriend to help remove the body.

The friend's boyfriend told deputies he saw a body wrapped in a blanket at Karczewski's apartment.
