Texas Woman Calls 911, Says She Shot Her Husband

SAN LEON (November 14, 2013) Genevieve Harvey, 46, of San Leon, was charged with murder Thursday after investigators say she called 911 and reported that she had disarmed her husband and then shot him.

Harvey was arrested early Thursday.

Her bond was set at $100,000.

The sheriff's department says Harvey called dispatchers Wednesday night to say she took a gun from Lindsey Tarver and shot him.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives recovered a revolver.

Investigators say Harvey was too intoxicated during the initial investigation to be interviewed.

Records indicate deputies have made several calls to the home in San Leon on reports of assault or other disturbances.
