Texas Woman Charged After 3 Fires Set In One Day

ODESSA (April 30, 2013)--Alison Marie Postelle, 25, of Odessa has been charged with arson in connection with three fires that authorities say were set back-to-back just blocks apart on Sunday.

Postelle was arrested Tuesday.

Firefighters were sent to one home at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday where the resident told them her daughter had set the fire.

Within a few minutes firefighters saw smoke coming from an RV about a block away.

Another column of smoke signaled a third fire where a sofa and grass burned.

Sgt. Gary Duesler with the Ector County Sheriff's Office said in an e-mail that Postelle remained in the county detention center in lieu of $75,000 bond.

She requested a court-appointed attorney, but one has not yet been selected.
