Texas Man Headed To Prison In Sex Tourism Case

DALLAS (February 2, 2012)—Kenzie Nelson, 31, of Garland, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to traveling for illicit sex.

A statement from the U.S. attorney's office says Nelson was sentenced Wednesday in federal court in Dallas.

U.S. District Judge Ed Kinkeade also ordered Nelson to serve a lifetime of supervised release after completing his prison term.

According to court documents, Nelson admitted to driving from Dallas to McAlester, Okla., in December 2010 with an underage girl.

There, he paid for a motel room and had sex with the girl before driving her back to Dallas and dropping her off at a supermarket.
