BURKE (May 16, 2014) Randall Cyrus Dobbs, 32, who has a distinctive tattoo of a barcode on his neck, was in the Angelina County Jail Friday facing a list of charges.

Dobbs, who was arrested after a Diboll officer pulled him over Thursday, was nicknamed the "barcode bandit" because of the tattoo of the scanning label typically found now on most retail products.

Doobs was wanted in Lufkin in connection with the theft of credit cards, a law enforcement officer's gun and badge and the use of the stolen cards to buy more than $3,000 in merchandise.

He was named in at least three arrest warrants and also has a previous felony record, authorities said.

He was held Friday on bonds totaling more than $17,000, charged with credit or debit card abuse, burglary of a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and theft of a firearm, online records showed.
