BELLVILLE (November 14, 2012)—What evidently was an after hours break in at a supermarket in Bellville led to a standoff early Wednesday and the arrests of three suspects.
The incident happened early Wednesday at the business in Bellville, about 60 miles northwest of Houston, where police responded to an after-hours alarm and discovered the men breaking into the pharmacy area of the store.
Police say the nearly two-hour standoff ended at around 4 a.m. Wednesday when the suspects surrendered.
One of the suspects who allegedly ingested something from the pharmacy was transported to a hospital to be checked.
Bellville police did not immediately provide further details.
