Three Charged In Abuse Of Texas Co-Op’s Credit Cards

JOHNSON CITY (March 15, 2014) An ex-police officer, his wife and her former boss have been charged after more than $50,000 in unauthorized purchases was made using a Central Texas electric cooperative’s credit cards.

The two women worked for Pedernales Electric Cooperative, but were fired during the investigation into the abuse of the cards.

Bryan Geeslin, Jeanny Geeslin and Zelenny Martinez are named in indictments charging organized criminal activity.

They were free on bond Saturday after they were arrested earlier in the week.

Martinez is a former information technology manager at PEC and Jeanny Geeslin was her assistant.

The women made more than $50,000 in unauthorized transactions, including electronic equipment, Johnson City police said.

Bryan Geeslin formerly was a captain with the Johnson City Police Department.
