BROWNWOOD (March 19, 2013)--Three people died when flames swept through a mobile home early Monday at a Central Texas lakefront development.

The fire broke out at around 3 a.m. Monday just off Texas Route 279 in the Shamrock Shores subdivision, about a half-mile from Lake Brownwood.

Brown County sheriff's Capt. Tony Aaron identified two of the dead as Eddie Jowers, 43, and Denman Cain, Jr., 42.

The name of a woman who died in the fire was withheld until her identity can be verified.

Brown County Sheriff Bobby Grubbs said the cause of the fire has not been determined, but said an electrical short is suspected.

Grubbs says Jowers lived in the trailer and that Cain was a guest at a party that lasted into the pre-dawn hours Monday.
