DALLAS (July 31, 2014) A 2-year-old girl who was hurt in an accidental fall from the second level of the American Airlines Center to the main level while attending a circus performance in Dallas with her family was in critical condition Thursday at Children's Medical Center.
Her name hasn't been released.
Arena general manager David Brown released a statement Thursday that said the girl was injured during the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Brown said her family was leaving their seats on the front row of the 200 level just before intermission when she fell to the Plaza Level below.
Officials did not estimate the distance the child fell.
Dallas Fire-Rescue officials on Thursday referred questions to American Airlines Center officials.
