WACO (October 22, 2012)—A 3-year-old Waco girl was remained in a local hospital Monday and her father was jailed, charged in the incident that police say led to her injury.
Raymond Adam Keith Perez, 22, was in the McLennan County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond charged with two counts of aggravated assault family violence.
Perez was arrested Sunday night after officers were sent to an address on Mildred Street where witnesses said the little girl had been run over, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Monday.
Swanton said the girl fell out of the pickup in which she was riding with her father and was run over after the girl’s mother was struck with the door of the vehicle.
Swanton said he did not the extent of the child's injuries.
The woman did not require medical treatment, Swanton said.
