Traffic Causes Chain Reaction of Accidents on I-35

LORENA (December 29, 2012) -- Traffic caused a chain reaction of accidents going north on I35 near Lorena within miles of each other between extis 322 and 325.

The accidents happened just after 1 pm. There were multiple cars involved but no injuries were reported.

Police say traffic slowing down caused the cars to collide into each other. Both lanes going north were closed for a short time but crews worked fast and the scene was cleared by 2 pm.

Traffic going north was still reported to be backed up for miles.
