EL PASO (June 9, 2014) Authorities were investigating a possible motor problem Monday after the Wyler Aerial Tramway at Franklin Mountains State Park in El Paso malfunctioned, leaving more than 30 people stranded.
No one was injured.
Some of the people left stranded at the viewing deck hiked about a mile down the mountain and emergency personnel used vehicles to assist the rest in getting down.
About six people remained aboard the tram, which was brought down manually.
