WACO (November 6, 2012)—Traffic was moving slowly Tuesday morning around a four-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 near Baylor.

Police, fire and EMS units were at the scene at 7 a.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 35 at the 5th Street overpass.

One person was taken by ambulance from the scene to a local hospital with what police said were minor injuries.

The fourth car and driver fled the scene, police said, and there was no description available of that car or driver.

Police said the accident happened when the first vehicle slowed for construction in the roadway and the following vehicles failed to stop.
