Two Accused Of Forcing 15-Year-Old To Work As Prostitute In Texas

FORT WORTH (March 7, 2013)--Two people forced a 15-year-old girl to work as a prostitute in Texas for five months before she was able to escape, federal authorities said Thursday.

One federal count of sex trafficking of a child was filed against Deundrea R. Miller, 27, of Fort Worth and Brittanie S. Brattain, 21, of the Fort Worth suburb of Saginaw.

They were both in custody Thursday.

If convicted they each face a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The two are accused of advertising the girl on the Internet using photos of her clad only in underwear.

She was forced to work as a prostitute from September to January before running away, authorities said.
