Two Boys, 14, Detained In Texas Teenager’s Shooting Death

DIANA (April 10, 2014) Two 14-year-old boys remained in custody Thursday in Upshur County in the death of an East Texas teenager whose body was found in a vehicle.

Authorities identified the victim as Jacob Michael Johnson, 17.

Deputies found his body after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle Sunday night in Diana, a town of about 600 about 125 miles east of Dallas.

Preliminary autopsy results released Wednesday showed that he died of two gunshot wounds to the head.

No further details were released Thursday.
