HOUSTON (January 13, 2014) Two men were in custody Monday, charged in a shooting earlier this month outside a home in Houston where a birthday party was underway that left another man dead.
Arlin Walbert Barrientos, 20, and Randy Larios, 18, were held without bond Monday, charged with murder in the Jan. 4 shooting death of Wayland Clark, 24, of Houston.
Clark was shot to death and two other people were wounded outside a house where several dozen people attended a party, police said.
Investigators say the shots were fired from a vehicle parked in a lot next to the residence.
Police are trying to determine what led to the gunfire.
Barrientos and Larios were arrested Sunday.
