WACO (January 9, 2014) Two men were named in indictments Wednesday in connection with separate home invasion robberies in Waco.
Samuel Bryant Ware, 48, was indicted for aggravated robbery habitual and Danacion Markeeze Presha, 21, was indicted for aggravated robbery, grand jury records showed.
Ware was charged in connection with a home invasion robbery that was reported at 4:40 a.m. on October 9, 2013, in the 1200 block of North 22nd Street.
The woman who answered a knock at her door recognized one of the men, whom she'd met a few days earlier, and told the men she was still sleeping and it was a bad time, Waco police officer Steve Anderson said at the time.
But the men forced their way inside the home and one started punching the woman in the face while the other took a large flat screen TV from the home.
Anderson said investigators believe the men left the house and fled in a vehicle.
Ware was arrested some time later in Austin on a warrant, police said.
Presha was charged in connection with an October 6 home invasion robbery that happened on October 3 in the 1100 block of North 17th Street.
The victim's wallet and a television were stolen.
Presha was arrested a few days later in Waco.
