A man and a woman were injured Monday night when a group of men drove by and shot them with a paintball gun as they walked along a busy local street.

WACO (July 15, 2014) A man and a woman were hit by paintballs fired from a passing car Monday night in Waco.

Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said the couple was walking in the 600 block of North Valley Mills Drive, near an Alon Store, when a red Ford Crown Victoria drove by and someone inside began shooting with a paintball gun.

Both the man and the woman were hit, as well as the building. The two hit weren't seriously hurt.

Waco police are investigating the incident as an aggravated assault with a paintball gun, but so far no arrests have been made.
