Two Men Charged With Kidnapping After Deputies Stop Speeding Vehicle

DALLAS (January 1, 2013)--Two men were arrested after Dallas County sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle for speeding and discovered a man who had been robbed and kidnapped by two men in the car after a traffic accident.

The sheriff's office said that after deputies pulled over the car Sunday morning, Manuel Torres, 34, stepped out of the vehicle and said he'd been kidnapped and robbed.

Gregory Ramos Guzman, 43, and Ruben Segoviano, 38 were charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.

Both were held Monday in the Dallas County jail.

The suspects' vehicle had collided with the victim's vehicle earlier and the suspects demanded money for the damage, authorities said.
