WACO (December 13, 2012)--Two men pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. District Court in Waco to participating with others to print and pass counterfeit checks and U.S. Currency.

U.S. District Judge Walter S. Smith, Jr., set Christopher Shwan Jobe and William Wade Koerth for sentencing on Feb. 13, 2013.

Documents presented in court Thursday show Waco police, along with U.S. Secret Service agents began an investigation in July during which evidence was recovered from Jobe's trashcan that indicated he was manufacturing counterfeit checks, currency and identification documents.

A search warrant served at Jobe's residence led to the recovery of computers, different types of computer media and counterfeit documents.

After interrogation, the document says, Jobe admitted he had printed counterfeit checks, currency and documents.

Further investigation led to similar discoveries at Koerth's residence.

Also in July police were sent to a Waco Walmart store where clerks said a man had tried to cash a fake $975.25 check that was drawn on an account that named the Waco Regional Airport.

Other checks recovered were drawn on Stanley Ford in McGregor.

Brandi Kaye Anderson, who also was named in the document, is set to plead guilty later this month.
