Two Motorcyclists Die In Central Texas Crash

COLLEGE STATION (July 29, 2012)—A collision between two motorcycles and a pickup truck Saturday at an intersection in College Station left a man and woman dead.

Police identified the victims as Patricia Hayman, 69, and Don Hayman, 49, of Dodge, KBTX-TV in Bryan reported.

The accident happened at around 1 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Tonkaway Lake Road and William D. Fitch Parkway in College Station.

The Haymans were riding their motorcycles west on William D. Fitch when a Chevrolet pickup that was headed north on Tonkaway pulled into their path after stopping at the intersection.

The pickup’s front bumper hit the first motorcycle and the second bike slammed into the truck’s rear quarter panel, police said.

The two motorcyclists, who were not wearing helmets, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck wasn’t identified.
