EL PASO (September 1, 2014) Two teenagers were in a hospital Monday after they were injured in a fall from a carnival ride at a church bazaar in El Paso.
The Sidewinder, a swinging pendulum ride with two gondolas at each end, was in motion Sunday night at the Saint Anthony's Bazaar when a door came open and the teenagers fell to the ground, El Paso police said.
The boy and girl, both 13, were taken to University Medical Center in El Paso.
Their their injuries are not believed to be life threatening, police said.
Authorities say no charges were filed in the incident, which remains under investigation.
