HOUSTON (December 10, 2013) Two Houston ISD administrators facing felony drug charges in Alabama after a traffic stop are no longer with the district.
Prosecutors in Mobile, Ala., say Dana Bost and Ronald Rodriguez appeared at a preliminary hearing Monday on drug possession counts.
Their bonds were set at $25,000 each.
Neither was still in custody Tuesday.
Bost was chief of HISD high schools and Rodriguez was principal of Wheatley High School.
They were both hired in July.
Investigators say marijuana and cocaine were confiscated during the traffic stop on Oct. 18 near Prichard, Ala., but district officials didn’t learn about the arrest until last Friday.
HISD officials declined to say whether the two were fired or resigned.
Bost, whose annual salary was $171,245, declined comment.
Rodriguez made $112,500.
No publicly listed phone number could be located for him.
