SAN ANTONIO (May 13, 2013)--Two detention officers at the Bexar County Jail were on leave Monday after getting into a fight that sent one of them to the hospital.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fight Sunday at the jail.
Sheriff's spokesman Paul Berry said what started as a disagreement between the two officers escalated into a physical altercation.
Other jailers broke up the fight.
The jailer who was hurt didn’t appear to have life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
The names of the two detention officers haven't been released.
Both were put on administrative leave.
