RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (October 21, 2012)--Two men from Texas died from injuries they sustained when the all-terrain vehicle they were riding hit a tree in Pope County, Ark.
Arkansas State Police said the ATV hit a tree after it veered off a Forrest Service road on Saturday.
John Andrew Beard, 44, of Spring, and Jonathan Norvell West, 48, of Humble were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash report said Beard was driving when he failed to negotiate a leftward curve and the ATV went off the right side of the road.
