A two-vehicle crash Monday sent three people to a local hospital, one of whom had to be freed from the wreckage of an SUV.

WACO (May 13, 2013)--Two men and a woman were taken to a local hospital morning after two cars collided at around 10:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of North 18th Street and Sanger Avenue in Waco.

The woman was thrown from her vehicle and firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free one of the men from his Lincoln SUV.

The victims’ injuries weren’t life threatening, police said.

Officers diverted traffic around the accident scene while crews cleared the roadway of debris.

The accident scene was cleared by about 11:15 a.m.
