HOUSTON (February 25, 2014) Two oilfield workers were killed when a piece of industrial equipment touched a live power line in Houston.
The accident happened Monday afternoon, authorities said.
The names of the two men who were electrocuted weren’t immediately released.
Houston Fire Department Capt. Bruce Greenberg said other workers tried to help the two victims who were taken transported to a Houston hospital, but could not be saved.
Police say a crane sustained minor damage in the accident.
