BELLMEAD (July 20, 2012) -- Two late night accidents sent several people to the hospital and snarled interstate traffic on Thursday night.
The first accident happened on I-35 north before the Berhens Circle accident.
There a car collided with a semi-truck, the driver of the car was taken to an area hospital.
Less than half a mile north another, more serious, accident involving seven vehicles including three 18-wheelers shut down the interstate traffic entirely.
A Penske van was sandwiched between two semi-trucks, and another car flipped on its side as a result of the accident.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, no one suffered life threatening injuries.
The victims were taken Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
