MARLIN (April 21, 2013)--Two homes were destroyed in an afternoon fire in Marlin.
The fire started at around 2 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Clark Street.
Fire officials say they have an idea how the fire may have started, but will not release those details until the fire marshal investigates.
Witnesses told News 10 that they saw three children playing in the home before the fire broke out.
Five different fire departments were called in to assist the Marlin Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
