WACO (December 29, 2012) -- Local firefighters worked fast to get a fire out before a home could be destroyed.

Firefighters received a call just before 4 pm that a house was on fire. It took them just 10 minutes to get the flames under control.

The fire is believed to have started in the back of the house where the most damage occurred. No one was living in the home and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters are still trying to determine a cause.
