BELTON (January 27, 2012)—Belton police Friday identified a woman who died early Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 190.

Sgt. Larry Berg of the Belton Police Department said Tameca Trueblood, 33, of Killeen, died just before 5 a.m. Wednesday when the eastbound minivan in which she was riding left the roadway and overturned, trapping her inside in the back seat.

A spokesman for Belton Fire Department said the driver and a front seat passenger were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Berg said the minivan was eastbound on U.S. 190 at Farm-to-Market 1670 when it left the roadway, crashed into a roadside tree and overturned in the median between the highway and the access road.
