WACO (May 29, 2014) A new Waco business is hoping to make tying the knot a little easier for couples planning to get married.
Waco Weddings and Events is the city's first walk-in wedding chapel.
The chapel at 713 Elm St. can seat as many as 50 people.
A marriage ceremony including use of the facility, a bridal bouquet and a boutonniere for the groom, music, a minister and a framed photograph, costs as little as $100.
For a little extra a reception room is available, too.
Waco Weddings and Events Owner Shelli Oliphant said she hopes to also offer vow renewals, as well.
"You get to enjoy the day," Oliphant said.
"Instead of stressing out and making sure everything is done, we do it all for you,” she said.
Reservations aren’t required, but marriage licenses are.
Texas law requires couples to get a marriage license 72 hours before the ceremony.
The chapel opens for business at 10 a.m. June 7.
