KILLEEN (December 5, 2012)—A weapon was confiscated Tuesday from a student at Live Oak Ridge Middle School in Killeen and the student was arrested, according to a letter that was sent to parents about the incident.
No one was injured, the letter from the school’s principal, Brenda Adams, said.
“There was no harm on campus and student safety was maintained at all times. This is a very serious and unusual occurrence at your child's school,” the letter said.
The letter did not say what kind of weapon was involved.
