MCLENNAN COUNTY (September 10, 2012)—Three new cases of West Nile Virus were confirmed over the weekend, bringing the McLennan County to 40.

This is the worst year the nation has seen for the virus. Texas has been hit the hardest.

Health officials are urging residents to still take precaution by wearing bug spray and long sleeves and pants when outdoors.
