BELTON (July 26, 2012)--A Temple woman who is accused of setting her sister on fire during an argument has been returned to Central Texas to face charges.
Iaisha Monique White was booked into the Bell County Jail Thursday morning and ordered held on bonds totaling $51,000, charged with aggravated assault family violence with a deadly weapon and various traffic violations.
White was arrested on July 10 in Denver on a Bell County warrant charging aggravated assault.
White had been the subject of a search since officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute with a burn victim on July 7 in the 700 block of South 36th street.
The burned woman was taken by ambulance to Scott & White Hospital with life-threatening burns on much of her body.
Officers determined that she was doused with gas and set on fire during a dispute with her sister.
