WACO (June 24, 2014) Ebonee Shardee Norman, 27, of Waco, was in the McLennan County Jail Tuesday after an attack in which another woman was stabbed in the head.

Norman was held in lieu of $20,000 bond charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, McLennan County Jail records showed.

She was arrested after officers were sent at around 11:25 p.m. Monday to a home in the 3700 block of Parkwood Street in response to a report of the stabbing, police Officer Steve Anderson said Tuesday.

The victim, who was not identified, also suffered wounds to her arms, hands and face in the fight, Anderson said.

Officers recovered a steak knife at the scene that they believe was used in the attack, Anderson said.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Medical Center.

Information about her condition wasn’t available Tuesday.

Officers arrested Norman a short time later in the 1300 block of Sunset Boulevard, Anderson said.
