MEXIA (September 8, 2012)— One person is dead and another is recovering from injuries after a two car accident near Mexia at about 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
35-year-old Sabrina Lynn Brewer died at the scene after her car collided with a Jeep at the intersection of County Road 971 and County Road 930.
The driver of the Jeep was treated for minor injuries at Parview Regional Hospital in Mexia and released later on that day.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
