TEMPLE (July 8, 2012)—The search for a local woman wanted in connection with an attack on her sister, who was doused with gasoline and set on fire during a domestic dispute was focused on Oklahoma Sunday.
Investigators say they traced Iaisha White, 31, of Temple, to Moore, Okla.
She’s named in an arrest warrant charging aggravated assault.
Officers were dispatched at around 12:30 p.m. Saturday in response to a report of a domestic dispute with a burn victim in the 700 block of South 36th street.
They found an adult woman who was severely burned.
She was taken by ambulance to Scott & White Hospital with life-threatening burns on much of her body.
Officers determined that she was doused with gas and set on fire during a dispute with her sister.
White fled in a silver or gray Dodge Stratus four-door car and authorities think she may have headed to Oklahoma.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about where White may to call the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500.
