Wreckage Of Plane That Crashed On Flight From Texas Found

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (October 12, 2012)--Crews plan to recover the wreckage of a plane Friday that was found in pieces on the south face of Laramie Peak, Albany County, Wyo., Undersheriff Rob DeBree said.

The plane was scheduled to land Tuesday evening at the Casper airport after taking off from Marshall and stopping for fuel in Dodge City, Kan.

Searchers in southeast Wyoming found the wreckage on Thursday after the plane failed to arrive at the Casper, Wyo., airport.

There were no survivors.

The names of those on board the plane weren't immediately released.

The Wyoming Civil Air Patrol, a U.S. Air Force helicopter and ground crews led the search for the Piper PA-32 single-engine plane.
