I am a concerned resident of Hearne, TX who cannot believe the light bill that i just received this month. My wife and i recently bought a house in Hearne, TX. Before buying the house we researched and got a copy of the past history of the light bill for our house as well. Our light bill in the House that we were renting had been running very high around 6 to 7 hundered a month. So we wanted to make sure we did our home work on the situation before buying a home in the same town. The highest light bill that had ever been at the house was a 300 dollar bill. the first month that we moved in the bill instantly went up by more than 300 dollars. When we asked about the bill and a reread they informed us that when they reread it it was about the sme and we needed to pay the bill. I work from home so i am always here and have yet to see anyone from the city come out to read my meter let alone reread it a second time. we the concerned citizens of Hearne, TX would like to know what we could do to have this investigated. To see what is really going on.

Thank you signed Concerned Citizens
