(Press Release)

The Heart of Texas Regional History Fair (HOTRHF) students have just finished their competition at Texas state level with the Texas History Day held in Austin at the University of Texas on May 3 and 4.

See the winners’ list below.

One of our HOTRHF students is again advancing to National History Day this June 15-19 for the second time since 2005.

In 2005 Karl Lockhart won a third place bronze medal and $250 along with the recognition of being 3rd best in the nation in his Junior Individual Documentary category.

This year he is returning to National History Day in the Senior Individual Documentary.

It is a major achievement to advance to National level in history fair competition.

HOTRHF wishes Erin, Karl and Calley the best of luck with their history fair projects.
