Although table tennis is the #2 played sport in the world (behind soccer), we know most Americans don’t have the same fascination or expertise as the world’s best nations do for the sport.
However, the Waco Table Tennis Club has been playing together for well over 35 years and has had some significant players through the years, including the former Dr. Grady Gordon who was several times national champion in his division. Ira Walton, now in his 80’s is the current national V.A. Champ in his age bracket.
We have our annual tournament, with up to 60 players from the region, who will gather again to play on Saturday, July 26, at Reicher High School gym, 9:00-7:30.
The “A” division and other groups usually have the finals around 7:00.
There is no charge for the event and we invite you to come to watch anytime that day.
