Area residents have all agreed on one particular thing recently; the lack of rain. With temperatures breaking 100 degree mark, many residents of Central Texas have all agreed that maybe a day of rain is just what we need to cool things off a bit. On Monday, August 18th they got what they asked for...and more. With a little bit over an hour of solid downpours came flooded streets, yards, and of course some ditches. Of course, the rain died off a bit leaving it unpleasantly humid, but still some much needed cooler temperatures were left in the storm's wake.
