Guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel comes to the Bosque River Stage at McLennan Community College on Oct. 2. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and costs $20 for all seats.

This Grammy-nominated musician has made a name for himself worldwide with his unusual “finger picking” style, which uses all 10 fingers and is similar to playing a piano.

A native Australian, Emmanuel has been playing guitar professionally for more than four decades, and his repertoire has grown immense over the years. This solo performer uses every inch of his guitar to perform his original songs, as well as classics like “Amazing Grace” and a medley of Beatles tunes.
