We found a man on the northbound side of the highway on US 281 south of Evant at approximately 8:50 pm Saturday night, who apparently fell off of a car and was left there.

We contacted 911 and waited for medical aid while trying to treat the man for shock.

The man was airlifted to a hospital.

The man was approximately 30 years old.

My daughters told me about this blog I was so hurt, some people have nothing to but gossip and say ugly hurtful things. My son is doing great and only by the grace of God. I pray when another family has an accident no matter the cause you will remember it is not our place to judge but to care for each other. While in ICU all those days I saw families loose their loved ones. What happened to bring us all to the ICU did not matter we were there because we had a hurting loved one. Ann in Temple I pray for you, I have been with Scott and White for over twenty years, I am ashamed a fellow employee could write what you did. I forgive you because you are a very attention seeking person with no knowlede of the person you wrote about. Stephen may God truly bless you, thank you for your help that night and your concern. Tell your daughter my son is recovering well thank you for being with him when I could not. Thank you for all your prayers they are being answered.

He was seen riding on the hood of a car that then turned on to the highway. Somehow he fell off and the person driving the car(his brother-in-law) went to go get help. When he came back help was already there, and the ambulance was on it's way. Please pray for him and his family!

All these crazy rumors, why even start things like this what do you get out of this,"AN" or "ANN" keep your comments to yourself. To the family hope he is doing well, and he is our prayers.

IKNOW THAT HE WAS DRUNK PER REPORTS BY EMS. I WAS IN THE ER WHEN THEY BROUGHT HIM HIM. THE TRUTH STANDS HE WAS DRUNK AND WAS THE PASSENGER OF A CAR HAD TO THROW UP, HE OPENED THE DOORR AND FELL OUT, AND HIS TRUE FRIEND DIDNT STOP TO RENDER AID CAUSE he was drunk himself

Ok, to all that are making all of these comments. When my family and I sent in the report, we were simply trying to find out his condition because we were very concerned, especially my 16 year old daughter that was knelt down next to him along with my self until he was transported. The report that they put on here was not exactly what I had stated. If you all had read the report that was on the news website from the fire department, we had put a comment stating that your family were in our thoughts and prayers. We have contacted every hospital in the area to find out his condition with no results. I am not exactly sure where the whole drunk came in. We are so glad that he is doing well. That is all we have been concerned about.

THE TRUTH JUST AS IT WAS STATED ON MY FIRST COMMENT. IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW MORE ABOUT WHAT "REALLY" HAPPENED THEN YOU CAN TALK TO ME ABOUT IT HERE IS MY EMAIL mistyfreeman23@yahoo.com BUT I'M GOING TO SAY IT ONE MORE TIME IT WAS A FREAK ACCIDENT THAT IS ALL THE HAPPENED.

Once again rumors get started by people assuming. I am also a sister to him and the report about opening the door is not the fact whoever you are you are leaking wrong information. Lets once again revaluate your story you know more because you are what?????? I know the facts because I have been there sitting at the hospital with him for 4 days now so your "truth" is false and AN you have no right to say he was a drunk and then be a coward enough to not even put your name. He lived in Evant and also Gatesville so you in Temple know nothing about him so shut up your rumors and get a life of your own!!!!

Thanks so much "Stephen" for starting such wonderful rumors, where would we be without rumor starters like you?The man "found" was a very close friend of my family, and we are all disgusted by the rumors and lack of concern for the family. As a person that grew up in this small community, when something bad happens to a family isnt this the time we should all pull together and help in whatever way we can instead of trash talking the family? If anyone from Evant reads this I hope you think about what you may have said or even thought when you heard the stories about the accident, and put yourself in their shoes and wonder if people would help you and your family? I have heard that no one wants to donate to the family cuz they say they dont know what the money will be used for? Come on now, arent you the same ones that are in church every sunday claiming to be christians?Well as chrisitans is it our place to judge?NO,so think about that next time you want to say something you know nothing bout

Thanks Misty for letting us know what happened. Is your brother going to be alright? Does your brother feel this was just a freak accident and does not want any charges to be filed? Thanks again.

I would like to tell the true story that happened. I'm the little sister of the man "found" yes my brother fell out of the car because the door was not closed right. Yes the person that told the story did drive upon my brother and no the drive was not thier because he didn't have a cell phone and he was trying to get to a phone to call for help. Before he got to a phone the fire truck were coming and he turned around and went back.
