Waco, Texas (Nov. 6, 2008) – The City of Waco Parks and Recreation Department and the Waco Jaycees are seeking participants for the annual Holiday on the Square Parade in downtown Waco.

This year’s parade will begin at 7:15 p.m. at the 800 block of Austin Avenue. Parade entries will lineup for the parade at 6 p.m. There is no charge to enter the parade, but registration is required.

Festivities for the annual Holiday on the Square will begin at 5 p.m. with the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run. The Keep Waco Beautiful Tree Lighting will immediately follow the parade. The event will also feature holiday entertainment, kids’ activities and food.
