WACO, TX - What a better way to show our Service Members thanks than to help make Christmas a special time for their children while they serve our country.

Drs Clark and Warren along with the staff of, Heart of the Brazos Oral & Facial Surgery, www.brazossurgery.com will be doing their part by purchasing gift cards to provide toys for military children at Fort Hood.

Through the Fort Hood based 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, Celebration of Love, toys will be given to families during their annual Christmas event on December 6th.

Last year, Celebration of Love provided toys to approximately 1,700 families – 3,800 military children. Their goal again this year is to provide 2 toys per child which does not include the hundreds of bikes they plan to purchase for the children.

HBOFS is seeking the public’s help in purchasing gift cards for toys. Gift cards, in any dollar amount, from the following stores; Target, Toys R US and Wal-mart would be greatly appreciated. Celebration of Love will then purchase the toys prior to the Christmas event for gift giving.

Dr. Charles Clark, an oral and facial surgeon at the Heart of the Brazos Oral & Facial Surgery, has a special interest in working with military families at Christmas. He served our nation as a head and neck trauma surgeon in the U.S. Army stationed in venues including Fort Hood, Brooke Army Medical Center and combat duty in Iraq; “Sometimes our military families are stretched to the limit during Christmas because of deployments…Moms and Dads need to know their kids will not be forgotten as they serve our country,” states, Dr. Clark who ended his 12 year military career a year ago as an Army Major {P.} to serve the civilian population when he established HBOFS in Waco.

Gift cards can be received by Heart of the Brazos Oral & Facial Surgery; either dropping off a gift card to the Waco office @103 Burnett Court, or by mailing to HBOFS C/O Troop’s Family Christmas, 103 Burnett Court, Woodway, TX 76712. To receive a tax deductible receipt issued by Celebration of Love, please include name and address with gift card.

Celebration of Love is led by Fort Hood Deputy Installation Chaplain, Jon Tidball, LT. Col., U.S. Army (Ret.)
