Parade Entries Sought For Holiday On The Square Save Email Print
Annual Jingle Bell Run, Parade, Tree Lighting Set for Dec. 6

Waco, Texas (Nov. 17, 2008) – The City of Waco Parks and Recreation Department and the Waco Jaycees are seeking participants for the annual Holiday on the Square Parade scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6 in downtown Waco.

This year’s parade will begin at 7:15 p.m. at the 800 block of Austin Avenue. Parade entries will lineup for the parade at 6 p.m. There is no charge to enter the parade, but registration is required.

Festivities for the annual Holiday on the Square will begin at 5 p.m. with the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run. The Keep Waco Beautiful Tree Lighting will immediately follow the parade. The event will also feature holiday entertainment, kids’ activities and food.
